Like @jwodder mentioned, the metrics that are available from the control panel are not currently exposed via the API. If that’s something you’d like to see, you can vote for it over on our UserVoice page. We use UserVoice to track feature requests and gauge user demand. If you subscribe to the request, you’ll be one of the first to know if there are any updates. We’re currently investigating better ways to provide metrics and additional monitoring tools, so now is a great time to share ideas and uses cases around these topics.
