Best method for uploading large (7GB) file from Windows?

I’m trying to upload a large file into my droplet from Windows platform. I’ve tried sftp, but it’s simply too slow(20Kbps).

Hello @prognew, let’s see. You have a large file and have already tried sftp; well, there are more methods to exhaust.

To be honest, any method with resume should do. Here is a simple approach which may save the day:

  • Install an HTTP server in your local Windows machine.
  • Be certain the file you want to upload is accessible from the web.
  • Log into your droplet and use wget to retrieve the file.
