CUDA-GPUs for Compute-instances PLEASE

Posted on October 16, 2019

I know this question comes yearly here but since I haven’t found one in 2019: I would like to use DO for photogrammetry though all softwaresolutions depend on CUDA-GPUs for atleast one processing-step… so… could you add just a old Tesla-GPU or whatever to your instances?

Right now Amazon makes the money instead of you, just saying.

Hello!

In addition to what has already been mentioned, regarding GPU usage, DigitalOcean Droplets traditionally do not come with GPU capabilities.

However, DigitalOcean has recently partnered with Paperspace to offer GPU-based virtual machines. Paperspace provides powerful GPU resources suitable for tasks requiring high-end graphics processing. You can explore this new offering for GPU capabilities and find detailed specifications at DigitalOcean’s Paperspace page.

If GPU processing is a critical aspect of your application, this new integration could be an ideal solution.

Best,

Bobby
