Hi! Unfortunately I am not a coder -other wise I would do it myself!
I support OPNsense (the m0n0wall successor and a 2015 pfSense fork) with doku, though.
The developers at OPNsense are more than hardworking. They added the Google Drive API for config backup. But I would not even start to put any doc on google drives and I like DigitalOcean (DO) much better.
So, I am just beginning to read through Python/Django books and would like to ask, if you could please help out and put the DO API in -please! For I can not do it and the developers have their heavy schedule.
Thank you!!

Sounds like an interesting idea. Though I’m not sure it’s a great fit for the DigitalOcean API. Google Drive, like Dropbox, can be used to store individual files while DigitalOcean’s API provides you with the ability to spin up, manipulate, and destroy servers, DNS records, etc. It might be more interesting for OPNsense to support some sort of generic SFTP upload for backup files. This way you are not locked into any one platform, and you would be able to backup to a DigitalOcean Droplet!
