Do comments/replies need to be manually approved?

I just spent ~20 minutes typing up a detailed response outlining what has been causing me issues on a specific answer only to see the reply never show up. I wanted to see if this is a known thing or if I will have to type it up again?

I asked a previous question here and posted a reply outlining the steps I took to fix this problem in case others stumbled upon it. However, I see my reply to that is still not there and only Bobby’s response is present.

I am hoping I am just overlooking something obvious and that they exists somewhere and I am just missing it.

I wanted to make this post to notify @Bobby Iliev as he has answered all my questions thus far and has been a fantastic help.

As a side note there were no tags relating to the forums so I put some tags that my previous questions had. I’ll be trying to respond to this post as well when I get an answer!
