I think that you can check your GitHub Student Pack credit by going to the GitHub benefits page and making sure you’ve claimed the DigitalOcean offer.
Then check your DigitalOcean billing page under “Credits”.
If it’s still not showing up, reach out to the DigitalOcean support: https://do.co/support

Your balance can be found by clicking on the box in the upper right of the page in the control panel and clicking “Billing”.
There’s a “Remaining account credits” section that appears at the very top of the billing page. Above the “Estimated costs for this billing period” section.
