I am doing some memory exhausting procedures. Is it possible to temporary increase memory to 8GB and then when it finish, downgrade to 4G.
How it is with billing? With some sort period tarrife?

Hello, @azazelo65
Digital Ocean charges by the hour for all droplets. The cost per hour is dependent on the hardware tier you select when creating a droplet and whether you decide to add the backup option enabled. Also please note that at minimum $0.01 is charged even if you use the lowest tier for even a minute as that’s the lowest that can be billed for. However Digital Ocean sets a cap on expenses for each tier.
You can always upgrade your droplet’s memory but keep in mind that you should only upgrade to a plan that has the same Disk Space amount, because downgrading the disk space is not an option and it’s not available.
When Resizing your Droplet make sure to choose the: CPU and RAM only option - This will only increase or decrease the CPU and RAM of your Droplet, not disk size. This can be reversed.
You can also check our official billing documentation: https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/billing
Hope this helps!
Regards, Alex
