Dear Team, this is the first time I am using Digital Ocean, Got Free credit of Rs 100$ , now the amount is finished. My credit card is active & added to my digital Ocean Account. Can you please clarify How going to I am changed, is It prepaid or Postpaid. I am fearing of Droplet Destroy. Should I add the money into that account or just chill & wait for the Postpaid Bill.

Hello @rebootmarketing

That’s a great question. There is actually is no difference between monthly and hourly billing!

At the end of each calendar month, we calculate the cost of your server based on the size of your Droplet. All Products are billed at an hourly rate up to a maximum monthly cap, which we have set at 672 hours (28 days). Therefore, if you use the App for less than the monthly cap, you will be billed for each hour that you used it.

However, if you use your server for more than 672 hours during that month, you will be billed at the monthly cost, which will be no greater than the cost of 672 hours. You can learn more about our pricing here:

To view your monthly invoice, just navigate to your billing page and look for the line that says Invoice under description. From there, click on the pages icon on the far right to view the PDF Invoice for the month.

On 1st of every month, your card will be automatically charged that is present on the account.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
