Question

Is there any charges for data transfer in managed database?

Hello, https://www.digitalocean.com/pricing/managed-databases

If I visit the above link and select Storage Optimized section for MongoDB and select first option then it shows that my charges would be 240$/month or 0.3714$/hr and nothing else. So can I assume that there are no extra charges for data transfer like for example aws charges 0.09$/GB for data going out to internet from dynamodb.

And if there is no such charges then is there any limitation for the amount of data that can be transfered from managed database to internet per month?

Like let’s say if I use more than 10 GB per month then I have to pay some charges for data going out after 10 GB?

Please help. Thank you.

Hello @ramcrab

Traffic to and from Managed Databases does not count against your bandwidth billing transfer allowance.

Hope that this helps!

Hey @ramcrab,

I’ll recommend checking the following Bandwidth page:
