Hey friend,

Thanks for writing about this. This is a filter on some new users for a period of time. We have in place some measures that prevent damaging abuse scenarios that we’ve encountered, many of which will not make sense to anyone outside of our staff. My apologies for any frustration that caused.

For anyone noticing the same in the future, you can reach out to our support team about this: https://www.digitalocean.com/company/contact/

For you, I’ve enabled your account to use larger droplets.

  • Hey sir,

Thank you very much for your replay. and thank you for the new large Droplets.

My problem now is just about disk SSD, I want to purchase for 80$/mo Droplet but when i see the storage allowed for me, i found it just 25GB and it doesn’t as i checked it out in pricing plan it was 320GB for 80$/mo Droplet.

PS: all the Droplet shows up on my account with just 25GB in SSD storage. that what confused me.

    regards.

    • Apologies for the confusion on that. There are two resizes you can do, one resizes without disk upgrade and one includes the disk upgrade. The benefit of resizing without disk upgrade is that you can gain CPU and memory, while retaining the ability to downgrade later. We do not resize disk downward, so that option can be appealing for some use cases.

You should actually be able to resize again to the same size, choosing the option that includes disk this time. You can read a bit more detail about resizing here:

      • Hey Sir,

Thank you so much for your help.

i really didn’t make attention for the two choices and i already resize my droplet in an easy way thank you again.

        regards.
