Just sign up and there is no Promo Code section in the billing tab for me to insert my promo code, what should I do?
I wanted to use my github student code for a school project so should be simple enough? I’m a bit lost here.

Hello, @guiamado29
The promo codes can be added from the Billing page in the Promo code section. In order to create your first Droplet, you must have a valid credit card on your account or make a PayPal deposit even when using a promo code.
You can check this link for more information:
https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/accounts/billing/payments/#promo-codes
If you’ve added a valid credit card or if you’ve made a PayPal deposit you should be able to add the promo code.
Hope this helps!
Regards, Alex
Hello guiamado29,
I think if you want to use your GitHub education pack promo code to add balance to your account, you need to submit a ticket to the DigitalOcean’s support team to get what you want. And be sure to use at least one method to valid your account, like pay $5 by PayPal or credit card.
Have a nice day.
