Hi,
I have a wordpress site and a ruby forum I am planning to migrate over to digital ocean.
Can I run both the wordpress site and the forum on one droplet? I’m asking because when I see the ‘select image’ screen it allows me to either select ruby or wordpress
Sorry for the noob questions
Thanks

Hi!
It’s certainly possible to run both a Rails site and WordPress on the same droplet, but that’s not really what those One-Click apps were really designed to do. You’d probably be better starting from scratch and building a setup to meet your specific needs. That said, you get full root access to your droplet even with the One-Click apps, so you can customize them.
I’d personally suggest using the LEMP One-Click for your base. It comes with Nginx, PHP, and MySql preinstalled. Then you can build on top of that:
