Hi folks, i just some badnews all my servers and applications havent send any single email for 4 days because sendgrid blocked port 487 all of a sudden with no warning. We have been using sendgrid and zoho relay on the servers, is there any solution other than to migrate from digitial ocean? it doesn’t make sense to all of a sudden shut things down and send me an article about a service i have been using for over 6 years,
anyone with solution? it looks like tonight will be a long night migrating from digital coean.

If you’re seeing issues with SMTP ports, keep in mind that ports like 25, 465, and 587 might blocked by default on DigitalOcean.
The best option is to reach out to support to confirm if that’s the case or request an unblock: https://do.co/support
Alternatively, you can switch to API-based sending with SendGrid or Zoho, which avoids SMTP port issues entirely.

All mail smtp ports should be closed for new accounts. As mentioned the API should do the trick for you. You can find more information here:

I raised a ticket with Zoho, and they confirmed there’s no issue on their side. I created a new Droplet with a different IP, but I still face the same timeout issue. I also raised a ticket with DigitalOcean support and am currently waiting for their response.
