I have followed several online tutorials for setting up a Ubuntu 20.04 graphical console on my Ubuntu droplet. None work. I always wind up in the text console. I have tried Brave, Firefox and Safari from both my macos 11.6.6 iMac and Brave and Firefox from my Ubuntu 20.04 machines.
Does anyone have any hints?

Hello,
One option would be to use xrdp for this. You can follow these steps here:
Setup a new Ubuntu Droplet with enough resources
SSH to the new droplet and run:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
sudo apt-get install xrdp
systemctl enable xrdp
3389 port is open:sudo ufw allow 3389/tcp

Then you can use any RDP client to connect to your server with your new account.
Hope that this helps!
