Hello,

What you could do is the following:

  • Setup a new Ubuntu droplet with enough resources

  • SSH to the new droplet and run:

sudo apt-get update
  • Then if you like Gnome desktop, install the following:
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
  • After that install XRDP:
sudo apt-get install xrdp
  • Enable XRDP to start on boot:
systemctl enable xrdp
  • If you have a firewall make sure that the 3389 port is open:
sudo ufw allow 3389/tcp
  • Add a new low privileged account:

Then you can use any RDP client to connect to your server with your new account.

Hope that this helps! Regards, Bobby
