hi guys i have been getting around for one week on digital ocean

i learned basics but i have some problem with free control panels.

they have not enough tutorial for everything set up and running. i always encounter some problems with them

my question is how many DO users are using control panels ?

Do you suggest me use DO with control panel or linux based?

Hello,

Through our many tutorials, you should be able to find command-line instructions for just about any task, so if you think you’re up to some reading, I would recommend using the images without a control panel, which is my preference. Control panel usage is, unfortunately, not something that is tracked on the platform, but many users do, if you prefer it.

With that said, I recommend reaching out to a control panel vendor if you’re finding their instructions are lacking, or the process is breaking (please feel free to provide the errors, etc. you’re running into as well here and certainly one of our many knowledgable community members may be able to answer your question!), if you wish to use a control panel. As always, you have full root access on your droplet, so there are many options for software available to you.
