We want WHM and Cpanel for hosting our site. How do we get it?

Posted on July 28, 2017

We read the tutorial of creating Cpanel. We are confused where exactly we should run those commands. We were trying it on putty, but while login we get network error “Connection Refused”.

Please guide us step by step procedure of creating Cpanel and WHM.

Hi @kidsmojo

The command must be ran on a DO droplet via SSH connection using putty, so create a droplet then you will receive login information on your email address follow instructions and login via SSH using putty and execute the commands there.

Hope this helps.

Hello, @kidsmojo

You can quickly deploy a cPanel/WHM droplet with the one-click install available from the marketplace:

https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/cpanel-whm

In this way you wont have to deploy and configure the server manually.

cPanel is a third party application managed through our Marketplace. New installations of cPanel come with a 15 day free trial. For further use beyond that point a valid license will need to be purchased directly through cPanel. https://store.cpanel.net/view/cpanel/license-options?type=VPS

Please refer to below link for further details:

Hope this helps!
