Question

Resizing a droplet on DO panel while using ploi control panel

I am going to be using ploi.io as my control panel to my $4 droplet.

Now, ploi has my DO API using which it can spin up a server and install the necessary software. It has the options to select the droplet plan.

But if the website gets traffic over time and I require more resources like RAM and disk-space etc, can I resize the droplet to, say, a $48 droplet without any issues ? Will there be any issue from the control-panel’s (ploi) side ?

Hi @anjanesh,

I’m not sure about ploi.io’s side however I’m sure you can resize your Droplets at anytime either by using the DigitalOcean API or GUI, it doesn’t matter. More about that here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/resize/

Now, if ploi.io have functionality to use the DigitalOcean API most probably it will be possible to have the Droplet resized as well without a problem.
