Hi there,
I believe do-agent
doesn’t use fixed IPs, it likely connects outbound to DigitalOcean’s monitoring endpoints, which are probably behind load balancers and can change over time.
Instead of IP whitelisting, you might be better off excluding the do-agent
process or user (usually do-agent
) in your fail2ban
config to avoid false bans.
That said, I’d recommend reaching out to support to confirm this: https://do.co/support

The IPs may vary, so it might be a better approach to whitelist the user under which do-agent is executed and the process itself.
Are you experiencing issues related to blocked do-agent
processes?
You can also reach out to our support team to ask for assistance.
