Why did I get charged during my 60 days trial?
I got referred by a friend to Digital Ocean, and it said that I got $100 valid for 60 days after I added my credit card. To my surprise I got an $9.59 invoice on June 1st, and my card was actually charged. I wasn’t expecting the charge and I thought that it would be taken from my promotional credit.
A more infuriating issue is that I sent a ticket on the 1st, and yes it hasn’t been resolved for more than 20 days, the only thing I got is automated replies and the last reply was from me (June 11).
I don’t even know how Digital Ocean is expecting me to continue using their services for my business given that tickets is the only way to reach out and me not getting any assistance regarding this.
