I’ve been developing my website and deploying it to my digital ocean server.
I’ve recently purchased my domain name. I’m getting close to launch. I assumed that when I would like to launch my site, I would log into my domain name registrar, and change my A and CNAME records to point to my Digital Ocean server IP address.
Digital Ocean’s instructions say that I should change my nameservers to Digital Ocean’s nameservers, then set up my DNS records there. Why should I do this?
