Hi,
I have just started using App Platform and it works really great! But I was wondering can apps access resources in droplets using private IP?
For example, I would like to host a CockroachDB cluster with droplets, but I would like to access it from the App Platform.

Hey @alanko0511,
I believe that the App Platform can access Droplets over the public interface but not really via the private one. But this sounds like a great idea!
The best thing to do to get your voice heard regarding this would be to head over to our Product Ideas board and post a new idea, including as much information as possible for what you’d like to see implemented.
Hope that helps!
- Bobby.
Hello @alanko0511,
There is no private connection between Droplets and App platform. If you’d like to establish a connection, it should be via a public interface.
Hope this helps!
Cheers, Lalitha
