Question

Can the datacenter region be changed in the App Platform after the app has been deployed?

I have created an app but facing slowness in the current region and I want to change it. Is it possible to do that? If so, then how?

Hello,

You can download the app spec from the settings tab of the App. Update the region and then deploy a new app. Updating the region on Cloud UI after App is deployed, does not change it and it is not possible. This is because the artifacts are based out of the region.

Uploading the app spec on the new app in new region will restore all the settings from your side.

Hope this helps!

Cheers, Sri Charan
