Hey everyone,
I recently noticed that my Droplet’s IP address is listed on a spam blacklist, and I’m not sure why. I haven’t been sending out bulk emails or engaging in any spam-related activities. Could it be due to a previous owner of the IP, or is there something misconfigured on my end?
I’ve checked my SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, and everything seems fine. Has anyone faced this issue before? What’s the best way to get delisted and prevent this from happening again?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

Heya,
It’s entirely if not a hundred percent, possible that a previous owner has been sending mails that haven’t been following best practices. What you can do is just request a delisting of the IP when checking the spam blacklist. There are links to follow on every blacklist to get the IP delisted.
Hey Davis 👋
Yes, this can happen sometimes if your Droplet IP had a bad reputation from a previous user. Best thing to do:
Hope that helps!

Heya, @davis1
It is possible to have the IP address listed because of previous mail abuse, but the blacklist can exist entirely on the RBL’s policy.
You can shed more light about the listing itself and we can check this for you!
