I’ve deployed a static site in App Platform with a custom domain.
The problem is that the starter domain provided by DO is still active, which creates a duplicate of the site.
Having duplicates of the same content is a big concern for SEO, so I’m wondering if there’s any way of disabling the starter domain or setting a 301 redirect to avoid indexing conflicts.
Thanks!

Hey @ignaciogoncam,
Quick update here, App Platform now supports subdomain routing, which also allows you to disable an app’s starter domain. For setup instructions, see How to Manage Domains in App Platform.
Great idea, sounds like it’d be super useful!
It looks like you’ve already posted the idea on our Product Ideas board. I am sharing it here so if someone comes accorss this question that could also get to the idea and upvote it:

I’ve just upvoted it myself as well!
