How to get out of a team ?

I’m has invited to a team. But now i’m no longer in that team.
I want to add my own billing info and create my own droplet, instead of create droplet on that team. How would i do that ? Many thanks !

Currently team member accounts cannot be directly converted to stand-alone accounts. You will need to create a new account and add your billing details there.

  • But i want to use again that email.
    How about de-active current team account, and register new account with that email ?

    • This should work, however since the email address was previously used, your new account may be marked for verification by our support team. If this happens a ticket will be opened on your new account and our support team will assist you through the process.

  • THE dumbest idea ever. I experimented with the team, and now I’m stuck. I’m literally one user who wanted to add another, but things happened in such a way that we didn’t work out, so I’d like to REMOVE the team crap forever and just go back to being one simple account (given that your interface is anything but simple, or logical, to understand team vs individual) but this cannot seem to be done. Way to go. AWS here I come. Anyway, please advise how to go back to being a single account with the one and only email address I have.
