How to setup email accounts?

Posted on October 3, 2015

I launched a wordpress website with the one click option on digitalocean, and changed the nameservers to connect to my wordpress site in DO, but I want to create email accounts and use them through gmail, I know how to set up emails with gmail and office 365 but how do I create the emails in the first place, I am used to doing it with cpanel on shared hosting and I can probably do it with zpanel, but I havent installed zpanel on my droplet, its straight up wordpress only. Is there any way to get what I want?

Hi,

What you are attempting would require a mail server, but you may be better off doing that through Gmail or another provider, through which you can create custom email addresses for your domain. https://www.google.com/intl/en_us/mail/help/work.html https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/why-you-may-not-want-to-run-your-own-mail-server
