Unfortunately we do not support some types of debit cards by default if they (the issuer) has been associated with a lot of fraud on our platform. One thing you can do is reach out to our support team by opening a ticket either via the control panel or by emailing contact@digitalocean. In some cases they can perform a manual verification to allow you to use a particular card. This process is not available for all cards. Another option would be to make a $5 PayPal payment which will also activate your account.
