Is it possible to put adsense ads on an app on app platform in digital ocean? I’ve tried putting meta tags and script add ins but so far adsense won’t accep the site.

I asked the question and now I am supplying the answer (my answer). Yes you can add adsense to a digital ocean app platform app site. The solution to my problems was to add the ads.txt file and not try to use the other 2 methods (1)adding meta tag or 2)adding <script>adsense stuff</script>). In my case, I was transferring a godaddy site to digital ocean app platform. Putting in the <meta> tag and/or the new <script> simply didn’t show up in the html. You see a mysterious https appear(I haven’t paid for it as far as I know) but that wasn’t why adsense couldn’t find my website (i don’t know exactly why the previous 2 methods were failing). But adding ads.txt is what worked.

In order to claim the domain ownership it is best to use your personal domain name rather than the default DigitalOcean App Platform hostname.
