Thanks for reaching out! While we don’t offer a pre-payment plan, due to the unknown amount of usage, we do offer PayPal as a payment method. This way you can make a payment for what you believe you will use over the course of a year. We would then deduct your monthly invoice amount from your PayPal payment each month. It’s simple to make a payment via PayPal on DigitalOcean. Here’s how you can do that:
- Navigate to your payment methods page: https://cloud.digitalocean.com/settings/billing
- Under Payment Methods, select the PayPal tab.
- Select the amount that you would like to add to your account
- Select the Pay Now button. This will prompt you to sign into PayPal and confirm the amount.
Please note that PayPal payments are not recurring. Thus we request you maintain a credit balance in your account equal to or greater than your monthly droplet cost. We will send an automated reminder if your balance gets too low.
