Set the VPN Interface as default in all programs

Posted on April 13, 2021

I was trying to using some programs like, dirb, nmap, ping etc… in a machine with my vpn, but the only way i can do that is setting the interface of the vpn (TUN0). The problem is that some of the programs, like dirb, doesn’t have a way to use a specific interface, that way i can’t use it. I want to know if there is a way to set the TUN0 Interface as default in my droplet with Ubuntu 20.04. I saw some tutorials in the internet but none of them helped me with my problem.

I did: route add -net 10.10.0.0 netmask 255.255.0.0 dev tun0 And worked just fine
