Here’s the scenario: I have cPanel/WHM installed on my server. I have a main domain, terrieades.com, where WHM is installed. Through WHM, I created a new account for the domain ftmorganumc.org. I went into that domain’s cPanel to create an FTP account. However, I am not able to get connected. ftp.ftmorganumc.org does not work and trying to sign in via the server’s IP address is not working, either. Both are SFTP. Any ideas??
EDIT: The answer for anyone else searching: The proper address to sign in with is ftp://yourdomain.com No FTP prefix, even though cPanel will tell you to add it.

Terri,
Glad you were able to find a solution. Most FTP programs should be able to talk to the server IP with the user credentials for the cPanel account via FTP/SFTP and log you in as well. Accessing FTP through a browser can be a bit of a mixxd bag.
Happy coding,
