While I am not a lawyer so I can’t provide legal advice I can say that as a US company DigitalOcean is required to comply with US Law. We will provide service to any region we are legally allowed to and should this change will will take all actions we are legally able to to ensure that users do not experience service interruptions or are given as much notice as we are able to give of any change in availability of our services for a region due to a change in US Law.

If you have specific questions on the legalities of purchasing cloud services from a US based company while located in Iran we would recommend consulting an attorney.
