Hello team, I think we have hit a road block, we have static websites hosted elsewhere which points to the root of our domain but after importing the domain configuration into DigitalOcean, we have now lost ability to point root domain to those static site, while serve, wildcard subdomain from DO. More context: our app is a Saas application which have multitenency based on subdomains, so we need wildcard subdomains, we are not going to merge our static site into this website as it brings in unnecessary traffic. Is there anyway that you folks can help us continue to point the root domain to be outside of DO while wildcard subdomain is pointing to our app-platform application?

Hello,
Yes, this should still work, you can point the A record your root domain name to the IP address of the server where you are hosting your static site at.
For more information on how to add DNS records you could follow the steps here:
https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/networking/dns/how-to/manage-records/
Let me know how it goes!
Best,
Bobby
