Do the apps have storage? Does the storage get cleared when the code gets redeployed? Is there any way to access the local files, such as through ssh or ftp?
Would it work for these:

The filesystem for apps gets cleared with each deploy. Also, if an app is scaled to multiple instances, each instance has it’s own filesystem. If the app needs files to persist between deploys, or be accessible to multiple instances, the files would need to be in persistent storage like DigitalOcean Spaces. The files could then be retrieved from spaces using the cloud dashboard, or an s3 CLI tool.
