As I was following through the installation tutorial (https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-nginx-on-ubuntu-20-04) I get to Step 5 server blocks and get to the instruction “Paste in the following configuration block, which is similar to the default, but …” So what is the name of the file I paste server block config into ?? Is it default.conf, server.conf, server (without a file extension) ?? There is no instruction of this and thus my point of failure as testing past this step FAILS.

Hello,
The name of the file could be anything, but it is best to use the name of your website so that it is descriptive.
As described in step 5, you could use your_domain as the filename for example.
