I’m really just talking about the upload speeds I’ve encountered with their Droplets.
I tested the upload/download speeds on multiple droplets in different datacenters around the world, and…
I deem the speeds unreliable as 1 minute I’m getting well over 3 Gbps/upload, and then 15 minutes later I’m only getting 4 Mbps/upload. I’m not exaggerating around either. If you doubt me, just search “DigitalOcean network speeds.”
This is by definition unreliable as I’m experiencing a drastic change of +750% in my upload speeds. Ridiculous.
Load Balancer
Load balancers supports 10.000 concurrent request per second. So imagine that you have an ecommerce website with Droplets. And you created a campaign
Imagine that you ve sent 500.000 sms or push notifications to your customers. With current network out limits you cannot offer service to your customers with current droplets . Because you have network out speed limit as 1gbit (100 mb per second approx) and you have 10.000 load balancer limit

Hello,
Network performance can indeed vary based on factors such as demand, traffic, and location. I recommend reaching out to our Support Team to investigate any specific performance issues with your Droplets. You can contact them by opening a support ticket through the DigitalOcean Control Panel.
Regarding the Load Balancer limits, it’s essential to properly configure and optimize your infrastructure based on the expected traffic and requirements of your applications. While the default limits are in place, you can always explore solutions such as scaling horizontally, adding additional load balancers, or customizing your configuration to improve performance.
Please review this guide on Introduction to HAProxy and Load Balancing Concepts to learn more about setting up and configuring load balancers for optimal performance.
Hope that this helps!
