How to change app's database from postgres to mysql

Posted on August 3, 2021

Hello all, I’ve been looking for solutions to change my app from postgresql to mysql in app’s settings. But even though I try to create new dev database, it only shows postgresql. It would be much appreciated if anyone knows answer for this. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for reaching out! Dev databases are only supported for Postgres at this time. You can create a managed MySQL Database in the Databases tab on the left side of the Cloud dashboard, then attach that DB to your App.

Hope that helps!
