Adding Domain to Docker Container

Posted on April 9, 2018

Hello Community – I’m trying to add a domain name to my UNMS (Ubiquiti) instance. I have it up and running and all is well. However, I have a “A” record pointing to the IP of the container. The domain name (as example) abc.example.com points to the IP address and it works.

However, I’m trying to translate that IP address into the actual hostname I have routed as “abc.example.com”. I’m sure there is something I need to do in Docker, but I cannot find anything relative to my current problem. Any help? New to the container environment’s.

Here is the install article for UNMS if this helps. https://help.ubnt.com/hc/en-us/articles/115012196527-UNMS-Installation-Guide
