Question

Changed DNS record for the host hours ago and server still responds with ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE error.

Hello, I’ve changed the NS server configuration on the domain and then I’ve changed the DNS configuration of digital ocean. I have set the A record as well pointing to the correct host IP. When I ping the domain it returns all of the packets and when I perform the DNS lookup it points to the correct host.

I just don’t know what else to do except to wait but this is the error: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

I’m just interested if anybody has had a similar problem and maybe there are some recommended steps I could take.

Hello there,

DNS changes might take up to 48 hours in order to fully update. This is mainly due to DNS cache from ISPs, general DNS propagation time and local DNS cache.

You can give it some more time and in the meantime use tools like whatsmydns or our DNS lookup tool
