Question
Deleting expired credit card
My credit card expires this month and I have been issued a new one with the same CC number but different expiration date and CVC number.
There’s no option to edit the existing credit card under “Credit Cards” at https://cloud.digitalocean.com/settings/billing, so I tried to delete it instead.
Deleting the existing credit card is not allowed because it’s my only registered credit card, so I tried adding the new credit card before deleting the existing one.
Now I see two lines under “Credit Cards” at https://cloud.digitalocean.com/settings/billing with the same name and obfuscated credit card number. It looks somewhat like this:
FirstName MiddleName LastName XXXX1234 X
FirstName MiddleName LastName XXXX1234 X
I can’t tell which one of these is the expired credit card and which one is new because the both have the same name and number.
I optimistically deleted the first one, hoping that they are sorted in order of increasing expiration date or increasing time of creation on the server side. We’ll see if my next payment is denied.
Could more information about the credit cards (such as the expiration date) be surface on the UI here so I know which to delete? Is there any way I can tell if I deleted the right credit card before I am billed?

WHY is there NO OPTION TO EDIT an existing CREDIT CARD?
Same problem here. Would love there to be an option to simply edit the card’s expiry date.
