Hi guys,
I just logged into my account, and on my profile activity page, it shows “api_token.create” by a foreign IP address. Reverse lookup shows it as the address being owned by DigitalOcean.
I’m just not sure where this API token is being generated from. Was it because I left a comment in one of the Community discussions, and to send follow-up emails, the platform had to make an API credential for me?
Strange, nonetheless.

Hey @stackdiary,
In our public community, we aim to answer open questions about anything SysAdmin, DigitalOcean and beyond. However, we make every attempt to keep personal information safe and so don’t ever access personal account information here. This means we can’t provide help with any account or billing-related questions.
Please reach out to our amazing support team who will be more than happy to assist you with your account issue! :)
Hope that helps! - Bobby.
