4+ years with digital ocean with minimal problems. droplet goes down (not sure why…power outtage at DO, datacenter upgrade…i dont know).
Droplet is stuck in grub menu and manual shutdown from GUI not working. I reached out to support and got that same stupid autoreply that basically reads like sorry but the hype is to get you to buy, we don’t want anything to do with your droplet problems.
I can’t even try to troubleshoot what is going on. I have no control, the server is in their data center and their GUI is not working (been trying to power off for almost 15min now and the button is just spinning).
I managed to get it to shutdown once and it took forever. I powered it back on and tried to shutdown again and its not powering off.
What are people suppose to do? Is digital ocean just for play servers and not production? Is that why there is no phone support or no quick option to deal with problems that are clearly on DO side?
