404 error when accessing phpMyAdmin for the first time after following the instructions.

Posted on January 26, 2014

I’m after following the tutorial on installing phpMyAdmin

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-install-and-secure-phpmyadmin-on-a-centos-6-4-vps

I am using centOS 6.5, I’m getting a 404 error when I try and access phpMyAdmin, is setting up phpMyAdmin different one centOS 6.5?

PHP is working as I have checked info.php, I got no errors when installing phpmyadmin and I was able to edit the phpmyadmin fix and I have double checked the changes.

If you type ‘cd /usr/share/phpmyadmin’ does it let you go into that directory? If so, you can try making a symlink to that location.
