I am setting up a rails app for the first time, and I uninstalled rvm and installed rbenv then did a “sudo reboot”, now I am getting the 502 error on my web page. The other answers to similar questions here didn’t really help. I can post any needed info, and my apologies if I haven’t posted enough to start. I am new to most of this and learning as I go.

Was the app working correctly before the reboot? How are you serving the app, nginx? If you can post any error messages in you logs?
