Question
A trademark infringement case of an unauthorized use of the trademark on a website of which you provide the host service
We reported a trademark infringement case on 18 June 2019 and have been trying to contact you about the unauthorized use of the trademark-registered and internationally-recognized logo and brand name of South China Morning Post on a web page.
We strongly believe that the website scrapdifference.com, to which DigitalOcean is providing the hosting service, currently posts a forged article and illegally uses the South China Morning Post’s logo and brand name in attempt to mislead internet users and eventually defraud them.
Despite of our several attempts to contact you, there has been no feedback from DigitalOcean for more than 2 weeks, not even an acknowledgement of the receipt of our email messages. I seriously doubt if you really respect the intellectual property rights and trademark rights as you claimed.
