You should use Nginx as a reverse proxy for your server, Here is a sample configuration for Nginx that may do what you want:

server {
   listen       80;

   access_log  /var/log/nginx/log/  main;
   error_log  /var/log/nginx/log/;
   root   /usr/share/nginx/html;
   index  index.html index.htm;

   location / {
      proxy_next_upstream error timeout invalid_header http_500 http_502 http_503 http_504;
      proxy_redirect off;
      proxy_buffering off;
      proxy_set_header  Host  $host;
      proxy_set_header  X-Real-IP   $remote_addr;
      proxy_set_header  X-Forwarded-For   $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;

Feel free to ask your questions about this settings.

  • Great, perfect!

  • Hi,
    So I have navigated to the conf.d file in nginx, all i see in there are 2 directories “.” & “..”.
