Activate .htaccess?

Posted on August 9, 2013

I have centos 6 server. But my .htaccess file doesn’t work. I don’t have any directory like this: /etc/apache2/sites-available/default (there’s no apache2 directory, under the /etc)

I’ve installed my apache, php and mysql just as this: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-install-linux-apache-mysql-php-lamp-stack-on-centos-6

What should I do to activate my .htaccess?

On CentOS it’s /etc/httpd instead of /etc/apache2
