The Apache web server is the most popular way to serve web content on the internet. Apache has the ability to serve multiple domains from a single server by using a mechanism called "virtual hosts". If a virtual host is configured correctly for each domain, the web server can correctly route traffic to the appropriate files based on the domain name requested. In this guide, we'll demonstrate how to configure Apache virtual hosts on an Ubuntu 14.04 VPS.
  • I have follow your tutorial link. My virtual host was created. And what then? How can I install wordpress?

  • This will guide you in setting up WordPress in your new virtualhost. Be sure to select a different name for your database when creating it since you already have the first one in place.

WordPress is the most popular content management system on the web. In this guide, we'll demonstrate how to install and configure it on an Ubuntu 14.04 server.

If you’re having trouble with manual server configuration to add virtual hosts, you might want to try ServerPilot for hosting WordPress and creating virtual hosts.

I have confused with manual virtual host configuration. So I buy webuzo vps licence and it’s easy to use. Thanks for your answers.
