Hi, we created a managed Kubernetes cluster on DO. We were looking for ways to add one of our on-premise machines as a worker node for the DO cluster. Is it possible?

In managed Kubernetes clusters, such as those provided by DigitalOcean, AWS, GCP, and Azure, adding individual nodes directly to the cluster is not supported. These cloud providers do not offer a feature to manually add nodes to a managed cluster.
To add an on-premises node to a DigitalOcean (DO) cluster, you would need to create an unmanaged cluster on DigitalOcean. This means you would be responsible for managing and maintaining the cluster yourself, including adding and removing nodes as needed.
I hope this clarifies the information for you. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
I think that’s not possible with DigitalOcean Kubernetes (DOKS)
